Well nothing says March Break activities like baking with the kids…and making super fast cinnamon buns. Nom. Nom. Nom.
Yummy Jiffy Cinnamon Buns
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
¼ butter (cold)
1 cup milk
Mix together, then blend in the butter with pastry blender or cut in with two knives
Add one cup of milk and blend together.
Take out of bowl and knead it a few times.
Roll out the dough to a rectangle to about ½” thick on a floured surface.
Mixture – the good stuff
1/3 cup butter
1 cup of brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Melt butter then add the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Then spread the butter combo all over dough.
Roll up the dough to look like a Jelly roll, cut pieces about 2” and place cut side down in a greased muffin tin.
Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
